The Checkley Awareness committee has been formed to promote community involvement and work to enhance the village of Checkley.

The committee holds regular meetings where local residents can raise any issues or concerns that they may have and suggest any possible improvements to the village. The Checkley Awareness committee has membership of at least one representative from Checkley Parish Council and also reports to the Checkley Parish Council. This enables local village issues and suggestions to be dealt with at a Parish level or above. For further information please look at the Checkley Awareness Committees Constitution .
